Hi everyone! Here is my journal entry for our first journal prompt: Write a letter to yourself on a bad day. Enjoy! Chamile, I know how hard a bad day can feel, but I also know how beautifully resilient you are. Let yourself feel all the feelings you need deeply today. Your sensitivity is your power. You may be sensitive- but it is this tenderness that makes you special. I know you see the world with such passion that you often feel moved to tears, not necessarily from sadness, but purely of love. You even feel tenderly for the pigeons that live above your home, just out of your love for life. Allow yourself to view your own life with that level of care. There are so many things about you that are pure magic, and you shouldn’t let this road block take that away from you. You are as bright as the flowers that bloom in the spring. You feel with the depth of an ocean. You shine softly, with an unassuming beauty like the moon. You are light, in your very own precious way. Take some time today to dance alone and feel the breath in your lungs. Let the sun beam down on you, and pretend you’re the protagonist of a movie finally overcoming the cards they’ve been dealt. Hi everyone! My name is Chamile and welcome to Sanando Juntos! I am the creator of this website and I'm so excited to meet you all! My heritage is from Mexico and the Philippines, and I grew up in Southern Texas. Though I grew up as a no sabo kid, I couldn't be prouder of my Latina identity!
